I think everyone has wondered what makes a book, like the Hunger Games or the Twilight Series, suddenly so popular? What makes it so good that you can't put it down no matter how hard you try? I have wondered this myself and compared the two books. Both are unique twist on old stories or historical events, both are from the view of a female, and both are in first person.
I'm beginning to wonder if, besides the story itself, the style of writing attracts people. First person, as of late, seems to be all the craze. As a writer, I would love to know from anyone, when you pick up a book, do you prefer/like first or third person and why?
